I acknowledge that as a member of the Building Industry Association (BIA) of Southern New Mexico, I am also a member of the parent federation, National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and the state chapter, New Mexico Home Builders Association (NMHBA); and that I will abide by each organization's policies and bylaws.

The annual investment for membership in BIA, NAHB, NMHBA is $575.00.

Full Payment is due in advance. Included in your payment of dues is a subscription for Builder Magazine and Nations Building News. These amounts cannot be deducted from the total amount.

Dues payments to the BIA are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal tax purposes. However, dues payments may be deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense, subject to an exclusion for lobbying activity. Because a portion of your dues is used for lobbying by NAHB and NMHBA, $47.00 for Builder and Associate members are not deductible for income tax purposes.
